The Board of Directors of the Regional Investment Centre was held in the Wilaya of the Drâa Tafilalet region on Friday, March 19, 2021 in Errachidia (March 2021 session). This meeting was devoted to the review of IRC activity for the year 2020. The Chair of the Board Session, in his opening remarks, said that all the indicators related to IRC Draa Tafilalet’s activity are positive, despite the exceptional economic situation related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Regarding the 2020 Business Update, the Director General of the IRC Drâa Tafilalet confirmed during his speech that the achievements reflect the evolution of investment dynamics and entrepreneurship as well as the improvement of the competitiveness of the territorial offer Drâa Tafilalet, as illustrated by the following indicators: An investment of DIRHAMS 11.72 billion for the 2020 fiscal year, allowing the creation of 12,501 jobs. Reduction of the processing time of investment files to less than 20 days; Evolution of the rate of creation of companies to 38% compared to the year 2019; Simplification of administrative procedures related to investment; Contribution to improving the investment dynamic and strengthening its competitiveness with the public and private sectors. The IRC’s performance in 2020 was warmly praised by the members of the Board of Directors for their efforts to improve multiple indicators.
