The Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences (FSJES) of Rabat-Agdal and the Drâa-Tafilalet Regional Investment Centre (IRC) have signed, Friday in Rabat, a partnership agreement to promote scientific research in areas related to investment and development.
Initialled by the Dean of the FSJES Rabat-Agdal, Farid El Bacha and the Director of the IRC, Allal El Baz, this Convention aims to give concrete expression to the willingness of both partners to take action and innovate in the areas of their respective competences, in the field of continuing training with a view to encouraging scientific research in the fields related to investment and development.
The aim is to organise conferences and trainings for the benefit of lecturers-researchers and Master and PhD students, in addition to encouraging excellence by awarding prizes to the best theses in law, economics and management.
This Convention will provide the IRC with information on techniques, practices and developments in its fields of activity, in addition to the development of skills and the enhancement of their potential in order to be able to further boost the dynamics of investment and entrepreneurship as well as the improvement of the competitiveness of the territorial offer of the Drâa region-Tafilalet, said Mr. El Baz in a statement to MAP.
The economic development and attractiveness of the territories is a complex process involving the various public actors, private, civil society and citizens, in a collective maneuver of building excellence, He supported, calling on the Moroccan regions to be part of the dynamics of the dematerialisation of administrative procedures pushing the territories to innovation and creativity relentlessly.
For his part, the Vice-Dean of FSJES, in charge of scientific research partnership and cooperation, Abdelaziz Laaroussi, noted that this partnership is part of the guidelines of the faculty aimed at broadening the scope of its partners, calling the convention “strategic” because it aims to promote research and development.
Through this agreement, the two sides aim to intensify their collaboration, with a view to developing better support for academic projects and acquiring high-level skills, he said.
